RVC gravity alveolar valves have V-shaped compartments and are a highly effective solution for dosing powdered or granular materials in many industries. RVC gravity alveolar valves consist of a tubular body made of cast iron or stainless steel, a rotor with inclined blades and V-shaped compartments, a motor and two side covers.
Function
Two compartments are filled with material at the same time via the filling port at the top of the alveolar valve. After less than half a turn, the rotor discharges the material by gravity through the discharge port, which is the same size as the loading port.
Features
Dosing rates: 580 litres per revolution Various motors for different rotation speeds Various materials and treatments available depending on the product being processed Maximum differential pressure: 0.7 bar (11.6 PSI)
Advantages
Compact and robust construction Standard open rotor with bevelled edges (except for the RVS80) Easy access to all internal mechanical parts
Options ATEX version available, Zone 22
