Operation
By supplying compressed air or a pressurised fluid (minimum differential pressure 2 bar) is supplied to the body of the pneumatic sleeve valve, a specially designed sleeve with high rebound elasticity is compressed.
The body design ensures that the sleeve closes in a lip-like manner, blocking the passage and ensuring 100% sealing of the conveyed fluid. The maximum operating pressure depends on the nominal diameter and is between 2 and 6 bar.
As soon as the supply of compressed air or pressurised fluid is interrupted and the pneumatic sleeve valve is purged or emptied, the sleeve opens thanks to its special design with high elasticity and with the help of the fluid pressure, releasing a full passage.
