Rotary propeller level indicator

Use: Installed at the top or bottom of a silo, the indicator allows, depending on the connection used, the power supply to be switched off or restarted and a light or sound signal to be used.
For all solid products: cereals, flour, animal feed, granules, sugar, chemicals, etc. Highly reliable and durable, made of aluminium, with sealed casing and bearings.

• Flange mounting:
  Propeller indicators are used for level control in tanks containing powdered or granular materials. The operation is very simple: a low-speed synchronous motor drives a propeller placed inside the tank to be monitored. When there is no material present, the motor is powered and the propeller rotates. The presence of material around the propeller slows its rotation, causing the control contacts to switch: a second mini-switch then disconnects the motor's power supply. Opening or closing the electrical circuit triggers an acoustic or visual signal, or the loading of the silo, the stopping of conveyors, excavators, etc.

Version: 24VDC/S with inverter card uses a brushless AC synchronous motor controlled by an electronic card integrated into the container, which converts the voltage from DC to AC. The use of a brushless motor solves the typical problem of DC motors, which have a limited service life due to wear on the brushes themselves.
