External pneumatic impact hammers "P" produce a shock wave generated by the continuous impact of the internal piston on the metal base frame welded to the wall of the hopper or bottom.
They are very effective with bulk materials that tend to stick to the wall. P series impactors are typically used for wet or electrostatic powders such as clay or plastic, but also sludge or manure.
P-series impactors solve problems such as the formation of encrustations, bridges or mouse holes, operating continuously with intermittent blows on the hopper or bottom at a pressure ranging from 2 to 6 bar (29 to 87 PSI).
When using multiple impactors, those at the bottom should be activated first, followed by those above at regular intervals.
The robust design of the P series makes these impactors suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, as well as for high temperatures of up to 200 °C (390 °F).
The external parts of the body are made of aluminium and grey cast iron with a powder coating (RAL 2009).
The "P" series impactors are mounted on a base plate (optional) that must be welded to the bottom, hopper or silo wall. It is advisable to attach a safety chain to the vibrator to prevent accidental falling during installation or maintenance.
