The SM85 is a simple and economical device suitable for monitoring minimum and maximum levels in silos or hoppers containing non-sticky, powdered or granular materials such as rice, cereals, plastics, coffee, sand, lime, etc.
Operation is very simple: the pressure exerted by the product on the membrane activates a fast-acting microswitch. The sensitivity of the switch can be adjusted using a screw on the device cover. Variations in humidity and temperature do not affect operation.
The membrane is resistant to shock and vibration.
ATEX version available.
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
The case is made of shock-resistant, non-flammable plastic with an aluminium mounting base.
The membrane is made of neoprene, diameter 82 mm; in the ATEX version it is made of antistatic silicone.
Response sensitivity: minimum 50 g central, 20 mm water pressure on the membrane.
